Xavier Modrić charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The supporters of Palestrinos F.C booed when Guarani Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xavier Modrić didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Artur Toscano made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Artur Toscano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palestrinos F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Artur Toscano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adalberto de Moraes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 60th minute, Fausto da Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Artur Toscano fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Guarani Futebol Clube had played much better football throughout.
