The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Palestrinos F.C's Artur Toscano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 8 minutes into the match, Gigabyte Futebol's Eurico Toledo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rubens Vale narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artur Toscano in the 11th minute of play forced Gigabyte Futebol's goalkeeper Luís Fábio de Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After taking down the ball on Palestrinos F.C's corner Percy Pires fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Luís Fábio de Souza quite easily take care of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Gigabyte Futebol's zone, Otávio Garcia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Fábio de Souza came out of the goal and Otávio Garcia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Artur Toscano in the 21st minute of play forced Gigabyte Futebol's goalkeeper Luís Fábio de Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luís Fábio de Souza came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Palestrinos F.C's Filipe Braga. But to his dismay, Filipe Braga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Luís Fábio de Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filipe Braga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luís Fábio de Souza made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Otávio Garcia sent off a good shot on target. In the 28th minute, Palestrinos F.C's Artur Toscano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luís Fábio de Souza. Luís Fábio de Souza yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. After a rather tough play, Palestrinos F.C's Filipe Braga got a free kick in the 37th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Artur Toscano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palestrinos F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Artur Toscano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Fábio de Souza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Artur Toscano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Luís Fábio de Souza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Fábio de Souza was out of position in the 47 minute of play, and Artur Toscano capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Artur Toscano really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0.

Artur Toscano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filipe Braga in the 56th minute of play forced Gigabyte Futebol's goalkeeper Luís Fábio de Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Palestrinos F.C fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Palestrinos F.C's Artur Toscano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After having played for 63 minutes, Eurico Toledo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gigabyte Futebol's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eurico Toledo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Palestrinos F.C's Artur Toscano in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gigabyte Futebol's goalie prevented a goal. Geraldo Rossi hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. 68 minutes into the game, Eurico Toledo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Rubens Vale. Eurico Toledo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 6-1. In the 73rd minute, Filipe Braga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Palestrinos F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. In the 80th match minute, Gigabyte Futebol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cleiton Vianna to maneuver through the defense. Filipe Braga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Fábio de Souza having to interfere. Wiliam Gonçalves charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Wiliam Gonçalves the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Wiliam Gonçalves kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. 85 minutes into the match, Artur Toscano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luís Fábio de Souza. Gigabyte Futebol's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Artur Toscano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 9-1. 89 minutes into the game, Emílio Netto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gigabyte Futebol's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palestrinos F.C the free kick. The supporters of Palestrinos F.C booed when Gigabyte Futebol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emílio Netto didn't get a good kick on the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Filipe Braga notched a goal, 10-1, to the right of Gigabyte Futebol's Luís Fábio de Souza. Luís Fábio de Souza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Gigabyte Futebol booed when Palestrinos F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Percy Pires didn't get a good kick on the ball.
