Júnior Massa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. Deivid Ortiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Júnior Massa having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Deivid Ortiz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The S. E. Palestra fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-1. 91 minutes into the game, Betão Vaz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. S. E. Palestra's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave F.Salgado F.C. the free kick. Betão Vaz kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. A hard shot by Emanuel Bertassi from long distance, 98 minutes into the match, got Gláuber Ramalho's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. S. E. Palestra walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
