The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, Pedrinho Bueno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ronaldo Barral. CORINTHIANS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedrinho Bueno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Ronaldo Barral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Esteves in the 9th minute of play. Denílson Alvarenga succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 9th playminute. CORINTHIANS's Ronaldo Barral proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save CORINTHIANS from getting a goal against them. Ronaldo Barral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eriberto Esteves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Pedrinho Bueno kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ronaldo Barral. That made the score 3-0 in the 17 minute of play. Ronaldo Barral stood somewhat misplaced when Denílson Alvarenga came free in front of goal and shot 4-0 to the left of him in the 20 minute. Laerte Ceresso received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ronaldo Barral came out and tried to block the shot, but Laerte Ceresso slotted it home off the left post making it 6-0 in the 27th minute. Ronaldo Barral was out of position in the 30 minute of play, and Pedrinho Bueno capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Pedrinho Bueno really showed his touch with that goal: 7-0. Eriberto Esteves took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ronaldo Barral. Ronaldo Barral dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. After a rather tough play, CORINTHIANS's Artur Bueno got a free kick in the 37th minute. Pedrão Berger kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Ronaldo Barral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Esteves in the 38th minute of play. Denílson Alvarenga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Ronaldo Barral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Laerte Ceresso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

53 minutes into the match, Eriberto Esteves notched a goal, 10-0, to the right of CORINTHIANS's Ronaldo Barral. Ronaldo Barral was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Artur Bueno charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Artur Bueno the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to CORINTHIANS getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Artur Bueno hit a great ball. 58 minutes into the match, CORINTHIANS's goal looked a bit too open when Eriberto Esteves came free, but Ronaldo Barral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nando Rosa took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ronaldo Barral. Ronaldo Barral dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 11-0. Ronaldo Barral didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eriberto Esteves went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 12-0 was the resulting score. 69 minutes into the game, Brigido EC's Téo Vergílio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ronaldo Barral made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 14-0. CORINTHIANS's Caio Paiva was substituted for Artur Bueno. CORINTHIANS made a substitution. Rui Borges replaced Erasmo Ramos. Pedrinho Bueno blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ronaldo Barral having to make a save. 80 minutes into the game, Denílson Alvarenga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 16-0. Ronaldo Barral was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 86 minutes into the game, Brigido EC's Eriberto Esteves nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ronaldo Barral made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 17-0. CORINTHIANS's Ronaldo Barral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eriberto Esteves in the 89th minute of play. After 90 minutes, Denílson Alvarenga made it 18-0 with a short kick to the right side. CORINTHIANS's Ronaldo Barral tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 93rd minute Pedrinho Bueno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldo Barral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 96 minutes into the game, Eriberto Esteves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 19-0. Ronaldo Barral was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Brigido EC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
