Christoffel De Lauw hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After 8 played minutes Metoloko FC got a freekick which was hit by Oswaldo da Cunha. Pedro Luís Tasso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Gugu Tasso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tiago Gabriel Botelho struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Gugu Tasso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Metoloko FC. 18 minutes into the game, Murilo Mourato was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RECOBA F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Metoloko FC the free kick. In the 17th minute, one of RECOBA F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for RECOBA F.C.. RECOBA F.C.:s Gugu Tasso showed great skill when he stopped Pedro Luís Tasso:s penalty. The supporters of Metoloko FC booed when RECOBA F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathias Ramos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Luís Tasso took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 27th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Gugu Tasso. RECOBA F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 29th minute, Tiago Gabriel Botelho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind RECOBA F.C.'s goalkeeper Gugu Tasso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gugu Tasso made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Tiago Gabriel Botelho sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Tiago Gabriel Botelho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gugu Tasso. That made the score 1-0 in the 34 minute of play. 39 minutes into the game, Cafu Furlan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RECOBA F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Metoloko FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, RECOBA F.C.'s Cafu Furlan got a free kick in the 39th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tiago Gabriel Botelho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Yu Ying was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. RECOBA F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Metoloko FC the free kick. A collision led to RECOBA F.C. getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Yu Ying hit a great ball. Pedro Luís Tasso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 54thth minute of the game Mathias Ramos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Metoloko FC's Gil de Almeida was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 59th minute, Dagoberto Barral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mathias Ramos struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Gil de Almeida didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RECOBA F.C.. RECOBA F.C.'s Olavo Pirani was substituted for Murilo Mourato. In the 63rd minute, Jonas Euloxu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gil de Almeida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mathias Ramos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Gil de Almeida managed to avoid a goal in the 72ndth minute, when RECOBA F.C.'s Cafu Furlan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 79 minutes into the game, Walmir de Castro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gil de Almeida. Walmir de Castro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Gugu Tasso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tiago Gabriel Botelho's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Gugu Tasso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Luís Tasso, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Gil de Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathias Ramos in the 96th minute of the match. When the final whistle went the supporters of RECOBA F.C. were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Metoloko FC side.
