Spectators: 7660 (Terracing: 5747, Seating: 1761, VIP seats: 152) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ademar Arantes started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd minute, Eriberto Esteves left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brigido EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 9th match minute, Brigido EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laerte Ceresso to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedrinho Bueno in the 16th minute of play forced Dilapdar's goalkeeper Cristiano Capixaba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Pedrinho Bueno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristiano Capixaba. Dilapdar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedrinho Bueno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Cristiano Capixaba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedrinho Bueno, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Brigido EC's Denílson Alvarenga got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ademar Arantes scored 1-2 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Magno Pitta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Denílson Alvarenga scored 1-3 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cristiano Capixaba, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedrinho Bueno in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Cristiano Capixaba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denílson Alvarenga in the 46th minute of the match. Cristiano Capixaba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Denílson Alvarenga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Denílson Alvarenga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pedrinho Bueno made a kick off. Vito Bezerra hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Brigido EC's Cristiano Capixaba threw himself towards the right post 53 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pedrinho Bueno, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Brigido EC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eriberto Esteves in the 54th minute. A well done corner resulted in Eriberto Esteves drilling the ball in to score 1-5 behind Dilapdar's goalkeeper. 58 minutes into the match, Dilapdar's goalkeeper Cristiano Capixaba had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Denílson Alvarenga. Cristiano Capixaba made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eriberto Esteves in the 63rd minute. Cristiano Capixaba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Téo Vergílio in the 64th minute of the match. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 88th minute, Téo Vergílio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Téo Vergílio notched a goal, 2-7, to the right of Dilapdar's Cristiano Capixaba. Cristiano Capixaba was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
