The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Ronaldinho Picavea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Magno Pitta was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. In the 14th minute, Nando Rosa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ronaldinho Picavea took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Magno Pitta. Magno Pitta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. With a little luck, Domicilio's Waldemar Dzerwucki got control of the ball when Denílson Alvarenga tried to sneak it across the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Brigido EC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristóvão Arruda came free, but Magno Pitta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Téo Vergílio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Waldemar Dzerwucki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brigido EC's Magno Pitta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldinho Picavea in the 35th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Domicilio's Erik Cardoso got a free kick in the 36th minute. Eriberto Esteves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Waldemar Dzerwucki made a huge save. In the 41st match minute, Domicilio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toninho Seco to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 56th minute Pedrinho Bueno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waldemar Dzerwucki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dorian Melo during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 69th match minute, Domicilio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Toninho Seco to maneuver through the defense. In the 71stth minute of the game Ronaldinho Picavea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brigido EC's Magno Pitta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Waldemar Dzerwucki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedrinho Bueno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jacinto Barreto kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Domicilio's zone, Denílson Alvarenga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Waldemar Dzerwucki came out of the goal and Denílson Alvarenga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nando Rosa kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Alfredo Gamboa sped through Brigido EC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Magno Pitta. Hamílton Ramos kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Magno Pitta stood somewhat misplaced when Alfredo Gamboa came free in front of goal and shot 2-3 to the left of him in the 90 minute. After a defensive mix-up in Domicilio's zone, Pedrinho Bueno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Waldemar Dzerwucki came out of the goal and Pedrinho Bueno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chants of Domicilio echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Brigido EC had held the ball for most of the match.
