But to his dismay, Ian do Vale quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When Clube Athletico Valão's Dedê Toscano in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye 丅卂从卂-乇リ 下.匚's goalie prevented a goal. Thomás Arantes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fábio Salles in the 8th minute of play. Enrique de Queiroz kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. In the 12th minute of the match Dedê Souza shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Thomás Arantes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Ian do Vale fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thomás Arantes having to interfere. Virgílio Madureira made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Ramiro Lopez sent off a good shot on target. In the 21st match minute, 丅卂从卂-乇リ 下.匚 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrique de Queiroz to maneuver through the defense. Fábio Salles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dida Arósio in the 28th minute of play forced Clube Athletico Valão's goalkeeper Virgílio Madureira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thomás Arantes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dedê Toscano in the 33rd minute of play. If Dedê Toscano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 39 minutes into the match, 丅卂从卂-乇リ 下.匚's goal looked a bit too open when Fábio Salles came free, but Thomás Arantes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the game, Clube Athletico Valão's João Pedro Couto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thomás Arantes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 47th minute, Dedê Toscano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dida Arósio was the one to do the kick off. Thomás Arantes was out of position in the 51 minute of play, and João Pedro Couto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. João Pedro Couto really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. João Pedro Couto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Thomás Arantes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ian do Vale got free with Thomás Arantes in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Virgílio Madureira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sílvio Luiz Mendonça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 丅卂从卂-乇リ 下.匚's Thomás Arantes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Pedro Couto in the 63rd minute of play. Dedê Toscano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Thomás Arantes made a huge save. Juvenal Cunha hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Dedê Souza might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Thomás Arantes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dedê Souza ran back to his position shaking his head. The Clube Athletico Valão players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
