Lúcio Sena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zézinho Lago, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Márcio Peres during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Márcio Peres hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. 13 minutes into the match, NóisNumLiga FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Paraíba came free, but Lúcio Sena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. NóisNumLiga FC's Márcio Peres got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lúcio Sena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walmir Britto in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute Joel Paraíba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lúcio Sena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Zézinho Lago notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of NóisNumLiga FC's Lúcio Sena. Lúcio Sena was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lúcio Sena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Geovani do Nascimento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 29 minutes into the match, Joel Paraíba had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lúcio Sena. NóisNumLiga FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Paraíba was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 34 minutes into the game, Geovani do Nascimento cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Lúcio Sena was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Lúcio Sena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Paraíba in the 39th minute of play. In the 41st match minute, NóisNumLiga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dino Matos to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zézinho Lago in the 42nd minute of play forced NóisNumLiga FC's goalkeeper Lúcio Sena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute, Joel Paraíba made a precise shot to the right of Lúcio Sena. NóisNumLiga FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Márcio Peres to strike the kick off in the second half. Lúcio Sena didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 51st minute, which inside left pole to 0-6. Lúcio Sena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walmir Britto in the 69th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovani do Nascimento in the 70th minute of play forced NóisNumLiga FC's goalkeeper Lúcio Sena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Geovani do Nascimento managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lunáticos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Geovani do Nascimento was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lúcio Sena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 72 minutes into the match, NóisNumLiga FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zézinho Lago came free, but Lúcio Sena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 74th minute, Walmir Britto reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lúcio Sena. The goal made the score 0-9. Zézinho Lago blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lúcio Sena having to make a save. The supporters of Lunáticos FC booed when NóisNumLiga FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Márcio Peres didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Lúcio Sena managed to avoid a goal in the 81stth minute, when Lunáticos FC's Geovani do Nascimento fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Lúcio Sena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geovani do Nascimento in the 83rd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, NóisNumLiga FC's goalkeeper Lúcio Sena had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Christiano Pombal. After a rather tough play, NóisNumLiga FC's David Luz got a free kick in the 90th minute. Lunáticos FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
