Santiago Beti came out of the goal and João Pedro Couto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joel Viana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Virgílio Madureira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clube Athletico Valão's Virgílio Madureira proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Clube Athletico Valão from getting a goal against them. Virgílio Madureira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano de Toledo in the 43rd minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

Santiago Beti was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano de Toledo in the 69th minute of play forced Clube Athletico Valão's goalkeeper Virgílio Madureira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Joel Viana put it in 8-1 from a short distance just to the right of Virgílio Madureira. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cipriano de Toledo in the 83rd minute of play forced Clube Athletico Valão's goalkeeper Virgílio Madureira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
