The ball went over the crossbar instead. 13 minutes into the match, Walmir Britto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Virgílio Madureira. Clube Athletico Valão's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Walmir Britto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Dedê Toscano's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Răzvan Fințescu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Joel Paraíba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Virgílio Madureira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dedê Toscano in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Răzvan Fințescu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lunáticos FC's goalkeeper Răzvan Fințescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Benjamim Gaúcho charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and João Pedro Couto made a kick off. Virgílio Madureira came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Lunáticos FC's Walmir Britto. But to his dismay, Walmir Britto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Lunáticos FC's Geovani do Nascimento got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Răzvan Fințescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Pedro Couto in the 61st minute of the match. In the 64th minute Geovani do Nascimento shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgílio Madureira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clube Athletico Valão's defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when Zézinho Lago scored to the left of an out of position Virgílio Madureira, making the score, 0-4. 72 minutes into the match, Clube Athletico Valão's goalkeeper Virgílio Madureira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joel Paraíba. Joel Paraíba took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Virgílio Madureira. Clube Athletico Valão's defense didn't have a chance, in the 80th minute, when Geovani do Nascimento scored to the left of an out of position Virgílio Madureira, making the score, 0-6. When Clube Athletico Valão's Dedê Toscano in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
