If Raphael Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sérgio de Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raphael Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After a rather tough play, Celtic FC's Quexal Rajoi got a free kick in the 20th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raphael Almeida in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sérgio de Azevedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to BMB IMOVEIS SC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Laerte Arantes hit a great ball. In the 38th minute of the match Celtic FC got a corner. BMB IMOVEIS SC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edson Oliveira ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Celtic FC's corner Edson Oliveira fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Sérgio de Azevedo quite easily take care of the ball. Sérgio de Azevedo came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Celtic FC's Beto Hermes. But to his dismay, Beto Hermes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Efrain Salamon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Luiz Vides, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Giovanni Bueno's late challenge caught a BMB IMOVEIS SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Giovanni Bueno helped the player get up and apologised. After 48 played minutes Celtic FC got a freekick which was hit by Giovanni Bueno. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Raphael Almeida made a kick off. Vicente Matos kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Beto Hermes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Sérgio de Azevedo made a huge save. Beto Hermes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sérgio de Azevedo came out and tried to block the shot, but Beto Hermes slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 56th minute. 62 minutes had been played when some careless play by Celtic FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Hélder Melo was slow to take the kick. During this time BMB IMOVEIS SC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Hélder Melo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Efrain Salamon quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Sérgio de Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raphael Almeida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd minute, Walmir Lima hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind BMB IMOVEIS SC's goalkeeper Sérgio de Azevedo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Celtic FC's Efrain Salamon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Luiz Vides in the 76th minute of play. André Luiz Vides blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Efrain Salamon having to make a save. Sérgio de Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raphael Almeida, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Chants of Celtic FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as BMB IMOVEIS SC had held the ball for most of the match.
