The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pedro Paulo Cabral blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alan do Vale having to make a save. Túlio Dantas charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Túlio Dantas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 7th minute, Túlio Dantas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Botafogo AP's Gugu Simões got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cocau Brasilia FC o o's Manoel Souza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Cocau Brasilia FC o o from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Cocau Brasilia FC o o's Dino Aparecido got a free kick in the 11th minute. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 2-0 when René Houseman sped through Cocau Brasilia FC o o's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Manoel Souza. Cocau Brasilia FC o o's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Ademir de Almeida scored to the left of an out of position Manoel Souza, making the score, 3-0. In the 25th minute, Botafogo AP's René Houseman dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. René Houseman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Manoel Souza made a huge save. Alan do Vale showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Renato Ribeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. René Houseman succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 5-0 in the 34th playminute. Ademir de Almeida could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Manoel Souza made a huge save. In the 40th minute of the match Botafogo AP got a corner. Cocau Brasilia FC o o's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ademir de Almeida ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Ademir de Almeida got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Manoel Souza quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After some careless play in the Cocau Brasilia FC o o defense, René Houseman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manoel Souza. The Cocau Brasilia FC o o fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manoel Souza should have stopped the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Pedro Paulo Cabral to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53rd play minutes René Houseman shot 7-0, a short shot which went by Manoel Souza and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 61st minute, Gugu Simões made a precise shot to the right of Manoel Souza. Cocau Brasilia FC o o's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. 67 minutes into the game, Botafogo AP's René Houseman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Manoel Souza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. After 69 minutes, Inácio Botelho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cocau Brasilia FC o o and the Botafogo AP players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Botafogo AP's René Houseman in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cocau Brasilia FC o o's goalie prevented a goal. Alan do Vale made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Marcelinho Proença sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ademir de Almeida in the 76th minute of play forced Cocau Brasilia FC o o's goalkeeper Manoel Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manoel Souza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of René Houseman's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. In the 81st minute, Ademir de Almeida made a precise shot to the right of Manoel Souza. Cocau Brasilia FC o o's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-0. Botafogo AP's Fritz Ernst Joinvilense was substituted for René Houseman. Botafogo AP made a substitution. Jânio Abreu replaced Gugu Neves. 87 minutes into the match, Gugu Simões notched a goal, 11-0, to the right of Cocau Brasilia FC o o's Manoel Souza. Manoel Souza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Manoel Souza came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Botafogo AP's Gugu Simões. But to his dismay, Gugu Simões quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 12-0. Fritz Ernst Joinvilense scored 13-0 in the 93rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Manoel Souza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Botafogo AP's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
