With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfredão Bueno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 15th minute of the match La Furia Football FCOMZ got a corner. Atlético Cristo Rei's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tomé Ferreira ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to La Furia Football FCOMZ's Haroldo Amaral getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Atlético Cristo Rei's goal looked a bit too open when João Carlos Penha came free, but Alfredão Bueno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Carlos Penha scored 0-2 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alfredão Bueno, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alfredão Bueno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldir Mandrak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfredão Bueno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldir Mandrak in the 28th minute of the match. Régis de Almeida's late challenge caught a La Furia Football FCOMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Régis de Almeida helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to La Furia Football FCOMZ getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Raimundo Pinho hit a great ball. Vítor Netto came free with the goalkeeper in the 32nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jostein Sølvberg could save by the left post. Vítor Netto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Jostein Sølvberg made a huge save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell João Carlos Penha to make the kick off. Nilson Meireles kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, João Carlos Penha took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Alfredão Bueno to make any attempt to save it. Waldir Mandrak took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfredão Bueno. Alfredão Bueno dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Haroldo Amaral got free with Alfredão Bueno in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If João Carlos Penha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Haroldo Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alfredão Bueno having to interfere. In the 69th minute João Carlos Penha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredão Bueno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vítor Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Jostein Sølvberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 75 minutes into the game, Vítor Cunha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atlético Cristo Rei's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Furia Football FCOMZ the free kick. After a rather tough play, Atlético Cristo Rei's Vítor Cunha got a free kick in the 75th minute. João Carlos Penha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, La Furia Football FCOMZ's Tomé Ferreira got a free kick in the 90th minute. Jostein Sølvberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vítor Cunha in the 92nd minute of play. In the 96th match minute, Atlético Cristo Rei was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Fernando Paulista to maneuver through the defense. When the final whistle sounded La Furia Football FCOMZ left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Atlético Cristo Rei.
