In the 6th minute, one of BOTAFOGOJF-FDFDF:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for BOTAFOGOJF-FDFDF. In the 8th minute there was a penalty for SAO JOANENSE FC. Elias Veloso stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Zhuo Fei Kun. 0-1. In the 11th minute, 周威翔 made a precise shot to the right of Amadeu Lamego. SAO JOANENSE FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 周威翔 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeu Lamego having to interfere. Amadeu Lamego came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by BOTAFOGOJF-FDFDF's 周威翔. But to his dismay, 周威翔 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. BOTAFOGOJF-FDFDF's 周威翔 got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amadeu Lamego didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 周威翔 went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. 周威翔 might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amadeu Lamego. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. 周威翔 ran back to his position shaking his head. SAO JOANENSE FC's Amadeu Lamego proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save SAO JOANENSE FC from getting a goal against them. 周威翔 took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Amadeu Lamego. Amadeu Lamego dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. 43 minutes into the match, SAO JOANENSE FC's goalkeeper Amadeu Lamego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Demis Son. Demis Son fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amadeu Lamego having to interfere. BOTAFOGOJF-FDFDF's Zhuo Fei Kun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elói Cosme in the 47th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 周威翔 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. BOTAFOGOJF-FDFDF were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after SAO JOANENSE FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. 梅森平 took the corner. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maik Chakravorty in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amadeu Lamego saved SAO JOANENSE FC from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Maik Chakravorty put it in 6-1 from a short distance just to the right of Amadeu Lamego. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 周威翔 in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amadeu Lamego saved SAO JOANENSE FC from getting behind. But to his dismay, Vilmar Heidemann quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-1. Vilmar Heidemann's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amadeu Lamego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. BOTAFOGOJF-FDFDF were awarded a corner in the 73th minute after SAO JOANENSE FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. 梅森平 took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of SAO JOANENSE FC's goalie and right to Co Vid. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. SAO JOANENSE FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Vilmar Heidemann struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Amadeu Lamego didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BOTAFOGOJF-FDFDF. Vilmar Heidemann's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amadeu Lamego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Amadeu Lamego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vilmar Heidemann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 82nd minute of the match BOTAFOGOJF-FDFDF got a corner. SAO JOANENSE FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. 梅森平 ran over to the corner to take the kick. Livio Prieto was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After 84 minutes, Edson de Sousa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SAO JOANENSE FC and the BOTAFOGOJF-FDFDF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 84th match minute, SAO JOANENSE FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edson de Sousa to maneuver through the defense. 85 minutes into the match, BOTAFOGOJF-FDFDF's 梅森平 broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 90th minute, Vilmar Heidemann left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BOTAFOGOJF-FDFDF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-1. SAO JOANENSE FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
