After a rather tough play, Macaco F.C.'s Felipe Lopes got a free kick in the 4th minute. Váldson Mesquita, 5 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Salah Hamrouche had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hílton Mangueira came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Picolino Futebol Clube's Salah Hamrouche. But to his dismay, Salah Hamrouche quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Hílton Mangueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salah Hamrouche, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the game, Felipe Lopes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Macaco F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Picolino Futebol Clube the free kick. In the 24th match minute, Macaco F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felipe Lopes to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Macaco F.C. getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Felipe Lopes hit a great ball. After 27 played minutes Macaco F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Fábio Dracena. In the 28th minute, Váldson Mesquita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hílton Mangueira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Salah Hamrouche's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. In the 34th match minute, Macaco F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusébio de Toledo to maneuver through the defense. After 39 minutes of play, Picolino Futebol Clube's Betão Recife made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hílton Mangueira was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Macaco F.C. booed when Picolino Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denílson Camargo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Picolino Futebol Clube's Waldemar do Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomás Pimenta in the 47th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zé Pedro Prestes made a kick off. In the 54th play minute Betão Recife came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Hílton Mangueira. 0-3. Hílton Mangueira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Betão Recife, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 65th minute, Betão Recife made a precise shot to the right of Hílton Mangueira. Macaco F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. In the 70th minute, Salah Hamrouche fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Betão Recife received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Hílton Mangueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hílton Mangueira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Betão Recife in the 76th minute of play. Hílton Mangueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Betão Recife in the 78th minute of the match. In the 81st minute, Betão Recife left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Picolino Futebol Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Hílton Mangueira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salah Hamrouche in the 84th minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Salah Hamrouche hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 86 minutes into the game, Zé Pedro Prestes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Waldemar do Nascimento was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zé Pedro Prestes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waldemar do Nascimento having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 95 minutes, Hílton Mangueira successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.
