When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Salah Hamrouche put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Alfredão Bueno. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Cristo Rei's goalkeeper Alfredão Bueno, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Felippe Sena charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felippe Sena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 62 played minutes Atlético Cristo Rei got a freekick which was hit by Felippe Sena. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Salah Hamrouche in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfredão Bueno saved Atlético Cristo Rei from getting behind. Picolino Futebol Clube's Betão Recife got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Atlético Cristo Rei's Alfredão Bueno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salah Hamrouche in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Betão Recife made a precise shot to the right of Alfredão Bueno. Atlético Cristo Rei's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. In the 87th minute Salah Hamrouche shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredão Bueno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Betão Recife in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfredão Bueno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alfredão Bueno didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Salah Hamrouche went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. In the 94th minute, Denílson Camargo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Waldemar do Nascimento was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Nilson Meireles. Picolino Futebol Clube's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
