When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Fachtna Duggan sped through 100 Chance's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leopoldo Cerezo. Bruno Renan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roberto Gerber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leopoldo Cerezo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. In the 44th minute, Fachtna Duggan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leopoldo Cerezo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. In the 47th minute, Fachtna Duggan made a precise shot to the right of Leopoldo Cerezo. 100 Chance's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-7. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-7.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edu Valadares was the one to do the kick off. Fachtna Duggan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Luís Fabiano de Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leopoldo Cerezo having to interfere. If Luís Fabiano de Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bruno Renan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nelsinho do Nascimento in the 86th minute of the match. Luís Fabiano de Andrade received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Leopoldo Cerezo came out and tried to block the shot, but Luís Fabiano de Andrade slotted it home off the left post making it 0-11 in the 87th minute. The Mayhem Sharks fans' excitement grew in the 91st match minute when Mayhem Sharks's Luís Fabiano de Andrade looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-12 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Mayhem Sharks's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
