Mazinho Mendonça was slow to take the kick. During this time Mineiros Esporte Clube's players had a chance to rest. Isidro Fagildo kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Edu Valadares hit a great ball. After some careless play in the 100 Chance defense, Wallace Randall kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leopoldo Cerezo. The 100 Chance fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leopoldo Cerezo should have stopped the shot. Naldo Marquez kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Artem Savin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leopoldo Cerezo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. The Mineiros Esporte Clube fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when Mineiros Esporte Clube's Robin von Gyldenfeldt looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal.
