Narciso Dias might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carlinhos Furlan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Narciso Dias ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Narciso Dias in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlinhos Furlan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Trembolona's Ademar Cabral got a free kick in the 19th minute. 22 minutes into the game, Mayhem Sharks's Narciso Dias nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlinhos Furlan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Carlinhos Furlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narciso Dias in the 32nd minute of play. When Mayhem Sharks's Narciso Dias in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fachtna Duggan to strike the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Fachtna Duggan took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Carlinhos Furlan to make any attempt to save it. The crowd rose to their feet as Fachtna Duggan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Carlinhos Furlan. That made the score 0-3 in the 68 minute of play. Carlinhos Furlan made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Fachtna Duggan sent off a good shot on target. After 79 played minutes Fachtna Duggan rounded Trembolona's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 0-4. Trembolona's Tarcisio de Queirós was substituted for Tiago de Queiroz. Trembolona's Aílton Guimarães was substituted for Betão Neves. If Fachtna Duggan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Mayhem Sharks supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mayhem Sharks would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
