Selemengo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Reac Futebol Clube the free kick. In the 10th minute, Severino Azevedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute, Vágner Diniz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Reac Futebol Clube's Gonzalo Frejaskov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gualter da Cunha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vágner Diniz in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gualter da Cunha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 19 minutes into the match, Reac Futebol Clube's Vágner Diniz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gualter da Cunha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 21 minutes into the match, Selemengo's goal looked a bit too open when Vágner Diniz came free, but Gualter da Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Selemengo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vágner Diniz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Gualter da Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gonzalo Frejaskov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vágner Diniz in the 31st minute of play forced Selemengo's goalkeeper Gualter da Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Vágner Diniz notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Selemengo's Gualter da Cunha. Gualter da Cunha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vágner Diniz to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Vágner Diniz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gualter da Cunha. That made the score 0-6 in the 52 minute of play. Reac Futebol Clube made a substitution. Humberto Correia replaced Gonzalo Frejaskov. After 60 played minutes Reac Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Bezerra. Vágner Diniz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 67thth minute, Gualter da Cunha skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a defensive mix-up in Selemengo's zone, João Vítor Moreira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gualter da Cunha came out of the goal and João Vítor Moreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Humberto Correia hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Selemengo's Gualter da Cunha got control of the ball when Vágner Diniz tried to sneak it across the goal line. 74 minutes had been played when some careless play by Selemengo's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ernesto Alagoano was slow to take the kick. During this time Reac Futebol Clube's players had a chance to rest. At last the ball reached Humberto Correia at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Selemengo. 0-7. In the 77th minute, Vágner Diniz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gualter da Cunha was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. In the 82nd minute, Reac Futebol Clube's Vágner Diniz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gualter da Cunha. Gualter da Cunha yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. The audience thought a goal was coming when Humberto Correia got free with Gualter da Cunha in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 86 minutes into the match, Selemengo's goal looked a bit too open when Vágner Diniz came free, but Gualter da Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute Vágner Diniz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gualter da Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute, Tomé Guerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Vágner Diniz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gualter da Cunha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Humberto Correia went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-10 was the resulting score. Reac Futebol Clube played a much better game than Selemengo and deserved their victory. The Selemengo players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
