Mateus Paulista scored 0-2 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabrício Simões, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fiori Matos made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Nilmar Eger sent off a good shot on target. Inter de Munique's Fabrício Simões played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateus Paulista in the 24th minute of play. The supporters of Inter de Munique booed when Hyrol MzFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 32nd minute Mateus Paulista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabrício Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 58th minute of the game Jaime Trindade made a throw-in which Andoni Donadoni played forward. In the 61st minute, Jaime Trindade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Hyrol MzFC defense, Nilmar Eger kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fiori Matos. The Hyrol MzFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fiori Matos should have stopped the shot. In the 69th minute, Mateus Paulista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ian Freitas during the 70th minute. The audience held their breath when Jaime Trindade in the 92nd minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Fiori Matos's left hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabiano Teixeira in the 95th minute of play forced Hyrol MzFC's goalkeeper Fiori Matos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Inter de Munique were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
