Mineiros Esporte Clube were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after Trembolona's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mazinho Mendonça took the corner. After 9 played minutes Trembolona got a freekick which was hit by Betão Neves. In the 10th minute Artem Savin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlinhos Furlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcus de Godoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Betão Neves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 16 in the game by Mazinho Mendonça from a close distance when the talented Carlinhos Furlan managed to make a qualified save. Trembolona's players were relieved. In the 17th minute, Robin von Gyldenfeldt fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Carlinhos Furlan, passed just outside the right post. In the 27thth minute of the game Robin von Gyldenfeldt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Trembolona's Carlinhos Furlan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcus de Godoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Betão Neves in the 30th minute of play. Betão Neves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mineiros Esporte Clube's Robin von Gyldenfeldt was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 35th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Robin von Gyldenfeldt might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carlinhos Furlan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robin von Gyldenfeldt ran back to his position shaking his head. Robin von Gyldenfeldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Carlinhos Furlan made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Robin von Gyldenfeldt to make the kick off. In the 50th minute Robin von Gyldenfeldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlinhos Furlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mineiros Esporte Clube's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mazinho Mendonça in the 52nd minute. Mazinho Mendonça made a great header on Mineiros Esporte Clube's corner, it was just that Trembolona's Carlinhos Furlan managed to reach the ball for a save. 61 minutes into the match, Robin von Gyldenfeldt notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Trembolona's Carlinhos Furlan. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlinhos Furlan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Betão Neves got free with Marcus de Godoi in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Robin von Gyldenfeldt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 81 minutes of play, Mineiros Esporte Clube's Wallace Randall made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carlinhos Furlan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mineiros Esporte Clube's Marcus de Godoi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Mineiros Esporte Clube from getting a goal against them. In the 88th minute the ball was on its way in behind Trembolona's goalkeeper Carlinhos Furlan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 90th minute, Aílton Guimarães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
