An unexpectedly hard shot by Robin von Gyldenfeldt in the 12th minute of play forced Discovery's goalkeeper Godfredo Teodor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robin von Gyldenfeldt might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Godfredo Teodor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Robin von Gyldenfeldt ran back to his position shaking his head. After 20 minutes, Wallace Randall made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Discovery's Godfredo Teodor tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Godfredo Teodor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wallace Randall in the 23rd minute of play. Robin von Gyldenfeldt might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Godfredo Teodor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. In the 43rd minute Robin von Gyldenfeldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godfredo Teodor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Mineiros Esporte Clube's Robin von Gyldenfeldt dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-11. Mineiros Esporte Clube's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-12. 90 minutes into the match, Mineiros Esporte Clube's Artem Savin sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Godfredo Teodor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Godfredo Teodor made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Wallace Randall sent off a good shot on target. Mineiros Esporte Clube played a much better game than Discovery and deserved their victory. The Discovery players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
