Mandalas's Zeca Couve played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardinho Paranaense in the 23rd minute of play. In the 28th minute Bladi Soto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeca Couve saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. PALMEIRAS FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mário Schmidt in the 31st minute. A very nice done corner allowed Dé Matorin to score against Zeca Couve in Mandalas's goal. 0-2 after 31 minutes. After a rather tough play, PALMEIRAS FC's Dé Matorin got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Bladi Soto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Zeca Couve tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bladi Soto in the 40th minute of play forced Mandalas's goalkeeper Zeca Couve to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the game, PALMEIRAS FC's Bladi Soto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zeca Couve made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 47th minute, Emanuel Mattin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 48th minute, Oswaldo Marques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Linus Ström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 49th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bladi Soto to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, PALMEIRAS FC's Mário Schmidt got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Mário Schmidt hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Zeca Couve was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Zeca Couve made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bladi Soto in the 74th minute. In the 84th minute of the match, Hudson Lucas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Zeca Couve saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Ruy Mota hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Behzat Oğuzhan kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After 88 played minutes Mandalas got a freekick which was hit by Mathias Campidelis. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Marquinhos Ramalho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mandalas's supporters rose to their feet, but Marquinhos Ramalho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Peder Lefland breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 94th minute, Jaap Onega hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hudson Lucas might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zeca Couve. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hudson Lucas ran back to his position shaking his head. PALMEIRAS FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
