Júnior Aparecido kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Curiphila Eagles's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gustavo Reis in the 4th minute. The audience was convinced that Antal Földes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kjell Sjöö was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. When Erik Vihonský fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Curiphila Eagles's protests and gave Erik Vihonský a yellow card for diving instead. In the 14th match minute, Curiphila Eagles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erik Vihonský to maneuver through the defense. 17 minutes into the game, Geovanni Félix was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TheGazette's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Curiphila Eagles the free kick. A collision led to TheGazette getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Geovanni Félix hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erik Vihonský got free with Müjdat Semin in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. TheGazette's Müjdat Semin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik Vihonský in the 26th minute of play. In the 34th minute of the match, Erik Vihonský got a very nice opportunity to score, but Müjdat Semin was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Erik Vihonský in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Müjdat Semin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 39th minute, Curiphila Eagles's Lúcio Sá dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Földes in the 44th minute of play forced Curiphila Eagles's goalkeeper Kjell Sjöö to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erik Vihonský could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Müjdat Semin made a huge save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erik Vihonský made a kick off. 51 minutes in the game, Erik Vihonský dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. 55 minutes into the match, TheGazette's goal looked a bit too open when Erik Vihonský came free, but Müjdat Semin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 56th minute Curiphila Eagles were awarded a corner. Gustavo Reis went to the cornerflag to take it. After 57 played minutes TheGazette got a freekick which was hit by Gerson Alcântara. 57 minutes into the match, Curiphila Eagles's Gustavo Reis sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Müjdat Semin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Müjdat Semin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lúcio Sá in the 60th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik Vihonský in the 61st minute of play forced TheGazette's goalkeeper Müjdat Semin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 62 minutes into the match, Curiphila Eagles's goalkeeper Kjell Sjöö had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antal Földes. Müjdat Semin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erik Vihonský's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. TheGazette's Müjdat Semin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lúcio Sá in the 66th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Piearres Holgado in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Müjdat Semin saved TheGazette from getting behind. Khaidir Sopandi took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Müjdat Semin. Müjdat Semin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Curiphila Eagles made a substitution. Nico Cunha replaced 尤奕景. If Douglas Gerber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 75 minutes into the match, TheGazette's goal looked a bit too open when Lúcio Sá came free, but Müjdat Semin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Müjdat Semin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lúcio Sá's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Müjdat Semin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Piearres Holgado in the 83rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, TheGazette's Gerson Alcântara got a free kick in the 85th minute. Waldir de Amaral kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, TheGazette's Betão Messias sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kjell Sjöö narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Antal Földes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Kjell Sjöö made a huge save. After some careless play in the Curiphila Eagles defense, Antal Földes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kjell Sjöö. The Curiphila Eagles fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kjell Sjöö should have stopped the shot. In the 96th minute Erik Vihonský shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Müjdat Semin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Curiphila Eagles's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
