An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Földes in the 9th minute of play forced PALMEIRAS FC's goalkeeper Peder Lefland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the match, TheGazette's goal looked a bit too open when Hudson Lucas came free, but Müjdat Semin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Peder Lefland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Földes in the 14th minute of play. Müjdat Semin made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Bladi Soto sent off a good shot on target. Hudson Lucas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Müjdat Semin having to interfere. A collision led to PALMEIRAS FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Ricardinho Paranaense hit a great ball. Antal Földes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26thth minute of the game Antal Földes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PALMEIRAS FC's Peder Lefland was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A hard shot 32 in the game by Bladi Soto from a close distance when the talented Müjdat Semin managed to make a qualified save. TheGazette's players were relieved. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hudson Lucas in the 33rd minute of play forced TheGazette's goalkeeper Müjdat Semin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bladi Soto in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Müjdat Semin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 45th minute of the match, Hudson Lucas tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Müjdat Semin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 46 played minutes PALMEIRAS FC got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel Mattin. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The supporters of TheGazette booed when PALMEIRAS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hudson Lucas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antal Földes in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Peder Lefland prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mário Schmidt hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute, TheGazette's Antal Földes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Müjdat Semin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bladi Soto's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cássio de Barros during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of PALMEIRAS FC booed when TheGazette was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cássio de Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. Peder Lefland showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Földes in the 80th minute of the match. Müjdat Semin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bladi Soto in the 84th minute of play. TheGazette's Müjdat Semin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bladi Soto in the 85th minute of play. In the 88th minute, Antal Földes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Despite being the better team, TheGazette failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
