The audience thought a goal was coming when Osmar Marinho got free with Peder Lefland in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 11 played minutes Aesir FC FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Eduardo Veiga. After 15 played minutes PALMEIRAS FC got a freekick which was hit by Ruy Mota. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Hudson Lucas managed to get in a good position for a shot. PALMEIRAS FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Hudson Lucas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Eduardo Galvão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Peder Lefland made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Manoel de Amorim sent off a good shot on target. In the 21st minute, Emanuel Mattin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Fábio Falcão in the 24th minute of play forced Aesir FC FSCMZ's goalkeeper Luiz Eduardo Galvão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Peder Lefland was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Igor Porto capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Igor Porto really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. PALMEIRAS FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Igor Porto scored to the left of an out of position Peder Lefland, making the score, 2-0. 38 minutes into the match, Bladi Soto notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Aesir FC FSCMZ's Luiz Eduardo Galvão. Luiz Eduardo Galvão was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Wiliam Goiano hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Peder Lefland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dalmo de Brito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Aesir FC FSCMZ getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Osmar Marinho hit a great ball. Luiz Eduardo Galvão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bladi Soto, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Igor Porto made a kick off. After 51 minutes of play, Aesir FC FSCMZ's Igor Porto made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Peder Lefland was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bladi Soto in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luiz Eduardo Galvão prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Luiz Eduardo Galvão made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Bladi Soto sent off a good shot on target. Luiz Eduardo Galvão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hudson Lucas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 66th minute Igor Porto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peder Lefland saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peder Lefland didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Igor Porto went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. 72 minutes into the match, PALMEIRAS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dalmo de Brito came free, but Peder Lefland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Igor Porto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Peder Lefland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luiz Eduardo Galvão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bladi Soto in the 82nd minute of play. Luiz Eduardo Galvão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hudson Lucas's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Peder Lefland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Igor Porto in the 91st minute of play. In the 93rd match minute, PALMEIRAS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oswaldo Marques to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Aesir FC FSCMZ getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Dalmo de Brito hit a great ball. In the 96th minute, Emanuel Mattin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Aesir FC FSCMZ had won after a very even match.
