Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Igor Maruda to make the kick off. A collision led to Itonia AD getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Igor Maruda hit a great ball. Bladi Sotos short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Elano de Lima to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricardinho Paranaense got free with Elano de Lima in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Elano de Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardinho Paranaense in the 60th minute of play. Aldo Lima struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Peder Lefland didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itonia AD. 67 minutes into the match, Itonia AD's goal looked a bit too open when Ricardinho Paranaense came free, but Elano de Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Itonia AD's Elano de Lima proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Itonia AD from getting a goal against them. Oswaldo Marques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elano de Lima having to interfere. After 87 minutes Itonia AD's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Wiliam Goiano who took care of the corner kick. With a little luck, Itonia AD's Elano de Lima got control of the ball when Bladi Soto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Itonia AD's Elano de Lima proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Itonia AD from getting a goal against them.
