Arkadiusz Basinski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Abdul Majid Awat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arkadiusz Basinski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of RENOVO booed when Jabaquara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benigno Goya didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Arkadiusz Basinski managed to get in a good position for a shot. RENOVO's supporters rose to their feet, but Arkadiusz Basinski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Abdul Majid Awat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. RENOVO's CJ van der Sar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mete Gøl in the 29th minute of play. In the 32nd minute RENOVO were awarded a corner. Arkadiusz Basinski went to the cornerflag to take it. RENOVO's Gabriel Marques was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Abdul Majid Awat in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. CJ van der Sar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mete Gøl in the 41st minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mete Gol to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Mete Gol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but CJ van der Sar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jabaquara's Abdul Majid Awat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arkadiusz Basinski in the 54th minute of play. Jabaquara's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Wellington Jacinto scored to the left of an out of position Abdul Majid Awat, making the score, 1-1. 62 minutes into the game, Black Angel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. After 86 minutes RENOVO's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tugay Atlıoğlu who took care of the corner kick. Jabaquara's Tugay Atlıoğlu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but CJ van der Sar in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 88th minute of the match Jabaquara got a corner. RENOVO's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tugay Atlıoğlu ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Jabaquara's corner Tugay Atlıoğlu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and CJ van der Sar quite easily take care of the ball. Black Angel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without CJ van der Sar having to interfere. Abdul Majid Awat made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Daniel Britto sent off a good shot on target. Daniel Britto's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Abdul Majid Awat firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Mete Gol came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Jabaquara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mete Gol couldn't finish the play. Mete Gøl got a throw-in 98 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Paolo Maldini. Tugay Atlıoğlu, 100 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the RENOVO players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Jabaquara.
