The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to RENOVO getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Rafinha Xavier hit a great ball. CJ van der Sar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Perivaldo Paraense in the 7th minute of the match. Luisão Pires's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 9thth minute, Nicolas Guimarães skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When RENOVO's Arkadiusz Basinski in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.A. Juventus's goalie prevented a goal. After 14 minutes, Alfredinho Borges made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. RENOVO's CJ van der Sar tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Luisão Pires could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Nicolas Guimarães made a huge save. Nicolas Guimarães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisão Pires in the 17th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Alfredinho Borges managed to get in a good position for a shot. C.A. Juventus's supporters rose to their feet, but Alfredinho Borges was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. CJ van der Sar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Perivaldo Paraense took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised CJ van der Sar. CJ van der Sar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Perivaldo Paraense in the 31st minute of play forced RENOVO's goalkeeper CJ van der Sar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Perivaldo Paraense took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised CJ van der Sar. CJ van der Sar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Luisão Pires could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Nicolas Guimarães made a huge save. When Luisão Pires came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the RENOVO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luisão Pires couldn't finish the play. Luisão Pires could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Nicolas Guimarães made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gilvan Meirelles during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 45th match minute, RENOVO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilvan Meirelles to maneuver through the defense. In the 48th minute, Eliézer Rodrigues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half C.A. Juventus were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

C.A. Juventus's Nicolas Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisão Pires in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes into the game, Délio Dantas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A. Juventus's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RENOVO the free kick. After a rather tough play, C.A. Juventus's Délio Dantas got a free kick in the 55th minute. RENOVO's Luisão Pires managed to work through C.A. Juventus's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Luisão Pires dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. 59 minutes into the game, Cleiton Domingues was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C.A. Juventus's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RENOVO the free kick. Nicolas Guimarães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisão Pires, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 65th minute, C.A. Juventus's Perivaldo Paraense dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. When Rafinha Xavier fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RENOVO's protests and gave Rafinha Xavier a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of C.A. Juventus booed when RENOVO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafinha Xavier didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfredinho Borges in the 76th minute of play forced RENOVO's goalkeeper CJ van der Sar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th play minute Perivaldo Paraense came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised CJ van der Sar. 0-5. With 83 minutes on the clock, Luís Eduardo Linhares commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in C.A. Juventus fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 82nd minute. Penalty! Nicolas Guimarães had in the 84thth minute some difficulties stopping Arkadiusz Basinski's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Alfredinho Borges's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but CJ van der Sar read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. In the 96th minute, Perivaldo Paraense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Noel Teles kicked well hit freekick during the 99th minute of the match.
