Arlindo Oliveira started the match with the kick off. In the 2nd match minute, EC Carlos Camisão was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arlindo Oliveira to maneuver through the defense. André Luiz Cosme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mete Gol in the 3rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Jabaquara's Benigno Goya got a free kick in the 4th minute. Abdul Majid Awat made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when José Vítor de Almeida sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mete Gol in the 8th minute of play forced EC Carlos Camisão's goalkeeper André Luiz Cosme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Jabaquara's Caetano da Silva got a free kick in the 9th minute. Abdul Majid Awat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Charles Queiroz in the 9th minute of play. After 12 minutes EC Carlos Camisão's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tugay Atlıoğlu who took care of the corner kick. 14 minutes had been played when some careless play by EC Carlos Camisão's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tugay Atlıoğlu was slow to take the kick. During this time Jabaquara's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Jabaquara's corner Tugay Atlıoğlu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and André Luiz Cosme quite easily take care of the ball. André Luiz Cosme stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mete Gøl's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. In the 24th match minute, Jabaquara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Black Angel to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute, Kirk Brandon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute, Mete Gøl made a precise shot to the right of André Luiz Cosme. EC Carlos Camisão's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Kirk Brandon hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Jabaquara's goalkeeper Abdul Majid Awat, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jabaquara's Abdul Majid Awat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arlindo Oliveira in the 39th minute of play. After the first half Jabaquara were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Mete Gol made the kick off in the second half. EC Carlos Camisão's André Luiz Cosme proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save EC Carlos Camisão from getting a goal against them. André Luiz Cosme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mete Gøl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mete Gol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Luiz Cosme having to interfere. 61 minutes into the match, EC Carlos Camisão's goalkeeper André Luiz Cosme had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Black Angel. André Luiz Cosme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mete Gøl in the 63rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mete Gol in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck André Luiz Cosme prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in EC Carlos Camisão's zone, Mete Gøl stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. André Luiz Cosme came out of the goal and Mete Gøl tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. André Luiz Cosme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidro Cleveland in the 68th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Vali Ţiriac hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. André Luiz Cosme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paolo Maldini in the 74th minute of play. João Adolfo Abraão kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. André Luiz Cosme didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mete Gøl went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. When EC Carlos Camisão's José Vítor de Almeida in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jabaquara's goalie prevented a goal. In the 84th minute Mete Gøl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Luiz Cosme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Jabaquara supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Jabaquara would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
