After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Arkadiusz Basinski managed to get in a good position for a shot. RENOVO's supporters rose to their feet, but Arkadiusz Basinski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francisco Munhoz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luisão Pires got free with Francisco Munhoz in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Agostinho Prado took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised CJ van der Sar. CJ van der Sar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 16th minute Lucas Sergipano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but CJ van der Sar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luisão Pires had several of the HUMBLE LIONS's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 18 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Francisco Munhoz as he didn't even see the shot coming. After a rather tough play, RENOVO's Noel Teles got a free kick in the 21st minute. 24 minutes into the match, RENOVO's goal looked a bit too open when Agostinho Prado came free, but CJ van der Sar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th match minute, RENOVO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafinha Xavier to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute, RENOVO's Arkadiusz Basinski dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. In the 36th minute, Arkadiusz Basinski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rafinha Gaúcho kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Wellington Jacinto reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Francisco Munhoz. The goal made the score 4-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Agostinho Prado was the one to do the kick off. RENOVO's supporters crossed their fingers, but Luisão Pires was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. RENOVO's CJ van der Sar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agostinho Prado in the 84th minute of play. Luisão Pires took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Francisco Munhoz. Francisco Munhoz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-1. 90 minutes into the match, Arkadiusz Basinski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Francisco Munhoz. HUMBLE LIONS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arkadiusz Basinski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-1. If Lucas Sergipano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 95th minute, Rafinha Gaúcho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When RENOVO's Luisão Pires in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye HUMBLE LIONS's goalie prevented a goal. There was no doubt that RENOVO were the better team. RENOVO's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
