The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Jabaquara booed when Planura was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Esteves didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Planura's zone, Tugay Atlıoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aadam Luga came out of the goal and Tugay Atlıoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Abdul Majid Awat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grigoriy Galkin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Black Angel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Jabaquara's Tugay Atlıoğlu got a free kick in the 11th minute. Mete Gol could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Aadam Luga made a huge save. When Jabaquara's Mete Gøl, in the 17th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Jabaquara. Paulão Toledo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Aadam Luga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Jabaquara's goal looked a bit too open when Goren Cayuela came free, but Abdul Majid Awat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abdul Majid Awat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grigoriy Galkin in the 22nd minute of play. Aadam Luga was a little too slow when Mete Gøl got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 1-0. Tugay Atlıoğlu charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tugay Atlıoğlu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 30th minute, Tugay Atlıoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lucas Terra took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Abdul Majid Awat. Jabaquara's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After 37 played minutes Planura got a freekick which was hit by Silas Maciel. In the 38th minute, Mete Gol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 41 minutes into the match, Jabaquara's Tugay Atlıoğlu broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mete Gol made a kick off. Abdul Majid Awat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grigoriy Galkin in the 62nd minute of the match. Aadam Luga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mete Gol, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Jabaquara were victorious despite being under pressure from Planura for much of the match.
