E.C. Água Santa's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Carlos Casemiro in the 11th minute. E.C. Água Santa's Otto Stenkvist was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but André Luiz Cosme in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Gafur Balkanlıoğlu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but André Luiz Cosme made a huge save. André Luiz Cosme made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Gafur Balkanlıoğlu sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the EC Carlos Camisão defense, Carlos Casemiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of André Luiz Cosme. The EC Carlos Camisão fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that André Luiz Cosme should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, E.C. Água Santa's Gafur Balkanlıoğlu got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 26th minute, E.C. Água Santa's Gafur Balkanlıoğlu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 29th minute Carlos Casemiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but André Luiz Cosme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Gafur Balkanlıoğlu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but André Luiz Cosme was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. André Luiz Cosme was a little too slow when Gafur Balkanlıoğlu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 3-0. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gafur Balkanlıoğlu couldn't finish the play. 45 minutes in the game João Adolfo Abraão did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Napier Dalaa. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

A sloppy throw-in by Albino Che in the 51st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by EC Carlos Camisão's Damian Becheanu. Gafur Balkanlıoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. André Luiz Cosme came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by E.C. Água Santa's Gafur Balkanlıoğlu. But to his dismay, Gafur Balkanlıoğlu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 59 minutes into the game, Gafur Balkanlıoğlu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. André Luiz Cosme was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gafur Balkanlıoğlu took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised André Luiz Cosme. André Luiz Cosme dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Carlos Casemiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without André Luiz Cosme having to interfere. Gafur Balkanlıoğlu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without André Luiz Cosme having to make a save. In the 88th match minute, EC Carlos Camisão was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Napier Dalaa to maneuver through the defense. In the 89th minute, Fábio Coelho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. André Luiz Cosme was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. EC Carlos Camisão's André Luiz Cosme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fábio Coelho in the 94th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. E.C. Água Santa had won after a very even match.
