Spectators: 7677 (Terracing: 5758, Seating: 1766, VIP seats: 153) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Altino Vale started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Squadra Demarchi's goal looked a bit too open when Altino Vale came free, but Oscar Saldanha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 4 minutes into the game, Nelson Vidal threw the ball into play from the sideline. A.D.PADRE MIGUEL's Jaime Dante quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 4 played minutes Squadra Demarchi got a freekick which was hit by Sérgio Batista. Squadra Demarchi's Oscar Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walmyr Novaes in the 6th minute of play. 7 minutes had been played when some careless play by Squadra Demarchi's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Altino Vale was slow to take the kick. During this time A.D.PADRE MIGUEL's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Oswaldo Jacinto got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Oscar Saldanha quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Oswaldo Jacinto took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Oscar Saldanha. Oscar Saldanha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oswaldo Jacinto in the 21st minute of play forced Squadra Demarchi's goalkeeper Oscar Saldanha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vânderson Cardoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexsandro Britto, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Oswaldo Jacinto in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oscar Saldanha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Altino Vale scored 0-3 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Oscar Saldanha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Oscar Saldanha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walmyr Novaes in the 32nd minute of the match. Jaime Dante's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oscar Saldanha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Altino Vale in the 43rd minute of play forced Squadra Demarchi's goalkeeper Oscar Saldanha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 51st minute, Altino Vale reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Oscar Saldanha. The goal made the score 0-5. In the 55th minute Haroldo Gregory shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Walmyr Novaes got free with Oscar Saldanha in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 59th minute, Oswaldo Jacinto made a precise shot to the right of Oscar Saldanha. Squadra Demarchi's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-6. If Altino Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A.D.PADRE MIGUEL's Vânderson Cardoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kléber Queirós in the 66th minute of play. Walmyr Novaes kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. In the 70th minute Altino Vale shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 71 minutes into the game, Mané Xavier was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Squadra Demarchi's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A.D.PADRE MIGUEL the free kick. After 71 played minutes Squadra Demarchi got a freekick which was hit by Mané Xavier. 77 minutes into the game, A.D.PADRE MIGUEL's Oswaldo Jacinto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Oscar Saldanha made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. Oscar Saldanha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Altino Vale in the 80th minute of the match. Mané Xavier kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Walmyr Novaes hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Vânderson Cardoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexsandro Britto in the 85th minute of the match. In the 85th match minute, A.D.PADRE MIGUEL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Dante to maneuver through the defense. After 86 played minutes, Squadra Demarchi's Claudinho Loyola shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Vânderson Cardoso came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Squadra Demarchi reached it. Oswaldo Jacinto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Oscar Saldanha made a huge save. Richard Moura's late challenge caught a A.D.PADRE MIGUEL's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Richard Moura helped the player get up and apologised. Richard Moura hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Walmyr Novaes managed to get in a good position for a shot. A.D.PADRE MIGUEL's supporters rose to their feet, but Walmyr Novaes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oscar Saldanha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oscar Saldanha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haroldo Gregory, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A.D.PADRE MIGUEL's Vânderson Cardoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kléber Queirós in the 93rd minute of play. Oscar Saldanha came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by A.D.PADRE MIGUEL's Altino Vale. But to his dismay, Altino Vale quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-8. A.D.PADRE MIGUEL's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
