The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute Cacá Falcão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulisses Urbano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atomy de Rondônia were awarded a corner in the 5th minute after Real Nexus C.F.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Paulo Bastos took the corner. The corner led Atomy de Rondônia's Paulo Bastos to fire away a dangerous shot which Ulisses Urbano despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Paulo Bastos's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Ulisses Urbano on his right side and into the goal. 5 minutes into the game it was 0-1. Benjamim Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Artur Romanov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Atomy de Rondônia's Artur Romanov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Atomy de Rondônia from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cacá Falcão in the 18th minute of play forced Real Nexus C.F.'s goalkeeper Ulisses Urbano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cacá Falcão in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ulisses Urbano saved Real Nexus C.F. from getting behind. Ulisses Urbano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Svetlan Delchev in the 21st minute of play. Ulisses Urbano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cirilo Constancio in the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Nexus C.F.'s goalkeeper Ulisses Urbano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 28 minutes Real Nexus C.F.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Paulo Bastos who took care of the corner kick. In the 30th match minute, Atomy de Rondônia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Genaro Polo to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lúcio Esteves in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Artur Romanov prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 39 minutes, Benjamim Brito made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Atomy de Rondônia's Artur Romanov tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cirilo Constancio hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The supporters of Real Nexus C.F. booed when Atomy de Rondônia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genaro Polo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lars Kiil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cacá Falcão in the 54th minute of play forced Real Nexus C.F.'s goalkeeper Ulisses Urbano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Artur Romanov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ediberto Vargas in the 56th minute of the match. In the 67th minute, Lúcio Esteves made a precise shot to the right of Artur Romanov. Atomy de Rondônia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Atomy de Rondônia's Luís Guilherme Lucas was substituted for Cristiano Antunes. Real Nexus C.F. made a substitution. Benjamim Abraão replaced Ediberto Vargas. Artur Romanov came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Real Nexus C.F.'s Lúcio Esteves. But to his dismay, Lúcio Esteves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cacá Falcão in the 78th minute of play forced Real Nexus C.F.'s goalkeeper Ulisses Urbano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91st minute Cacá Falcão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulisses Urbano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cirilo Constancio came free with the goalkeeper in the 93rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ulisses Urbano could save by the left post. Real Nexus C.F.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
