Dedê Moreira was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The audience was convinced that Anatoliy Lobanov's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcelinho Corrêa was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. In the 13th minute Anatoliy Lobanov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelinho Corrêa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anatoliy Lobanov in the 13th minute of play forced Parasinho FC's goalkeeper Marcelinho Corrêa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th match minute, Dragons EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anatoliy Lobanov to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Dragons EC's Marco Pinheiro got control of the ball when Edmílson Souza tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marco Pinheiro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edmílson Souza showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 25 minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Parasinho FC's Edmílson Souza sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marco Pinheiro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Anatoliy Lobanov blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marcelinho Corrêa having to make a save. Dragons EC's Nilson Bastos quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Jardel Zonta, made in the 37th minute of the game. The supporters of Dragons EC booed when Parasinho FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Pereira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adam Nørlyk missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 40 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Marcelinho Corrêa right hand side. Manoel Pitta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 48 played minutes Parasinho FC got a freekick which was hit by Jardel Zonta. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anatoliy Lobanov to strike the kick off in the second half. Marcelinho Corrêa was out of position in the 55 minute of play, and Anatoliy Lobanov capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Anatoliy Lobanov really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Adam Nørlyk struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Marcelinho Corrêa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dragons EC. A hard shot 64 in the game by Anatoliy Lobanov from a close distance when the talented Marcelinho Corrêa managed to make a qualified save. Parasinho FC's players were relieved. In the 65th minute of the match Dragons EC got a corner. Parasinho FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Adam Nørlyk ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Dragons EC's corner Adam Nørlyk fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marcelinho Corrêa quite easily take care of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anatoliy Lobanov got free with Marcelinho Corrêa in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Telmo Dante in the 70th minute of play forced Dragons EC's goalkeeper Marco Pinheiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 75 minutes, Leon Messi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Parasinho FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leon Messi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anatoliy Lobanov in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcelinho Corrêa saved Parasinho FC from getting behind. With a little luck, Parasinho FC's Marcelinho Corrêa got control of the ball when Anatoliy Lobanov tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dragons EC's Marco Pinheiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmílson Souza in the 81st minute of play. Marcelinho Corrêa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Nørlyk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Edmílson Souza's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marco Pinheiro was relentless in the 84th minute of the game. Jardel Zonta made in the 87th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Leon Messi however managed to control. Marco Pinheiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Telmo Dante, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. 97 minutes into the match, Dragons EC's goal looked a bit too open when Telmo Dante came free, but Marco Pinheiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Dragons EC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
