The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the match, Oiteiras's goal looked a bit too open when Ramiro Zanette came free, but Davy Reuter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Ramiro Zanette had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Davy Reuter. Oiteiras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ramiro Zanette was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Silas Paraibano was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Emerson Salles capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Emerson Salles really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Silas Paraibano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emerson Salles in the 17th minute. After 22 played minutes A.C. Mediolanum got a freekick which was hit by Pedrão Mazza. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind A.C. Mediolanum's goalkeeper Silas Paraibano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 25th minute, Dadá Perez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Davy Reuter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramiro Zanette in the 32nd minute of play. If Dadá Perez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silas Paraibano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emerson Salles in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Luís Fabiano Neto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silas Paraibano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emerson Salles in the 40th minute of the match. 42 minutes in the game, Dadá Perez fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Silas Paraibano having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emerson Salles to strike the kick off in the second half. Oiteiras were awarded a corner in the 52th minute after A.C. Mediolanum's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Renatinho Loyola took the corner. Ronaldão Fontes was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Emiliano Blasi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Davy Reuter having to make a save. In a very dangerous position, a player in Oiteiras fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 56th minute. Penalty! In the 58th minute of the match A.C. Mediolanum's Sílvio Luís Gerber broke free and sent away a ball that went into the goal by the right post. 2-2. Oiteiras's Dime Darrell was substituted for Dadá Perez. Oiteiras's attack was well implemented in the 70th minute, but when Dime Darrell was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. In the 73rd minute, Sílvio Luís Gerber left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The A.C. Mediolanum fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. A.C. Mediolanum's Silas Paraibano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dime Darrell in the 80th minute of play. Serafim Marques received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Silas Paraibano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silas Paraibano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dime Darrell in the 83rd minute of the match. After some careless play in the A.C. Mediolanum defense, Dime Darrell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silas Paraibano. The A.C. Mediolanum fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silas Paraibano should have stopped the shot. In the 85th minute, Josué das Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute of the match Ramiro Zanette shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Davy Reuter showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Dime Darrell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Silas Paraibano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd match minute, Oiteiras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafim Marques to maneuver through the defense. Oiteiras's Davy Reuter proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Oiteiras from getting a goal against them. Silas Paraibano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dime Darrell in the 98th minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
