In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Safety Center Segurança's goalkeeper Enes Enescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With his leg Enes Enescu managed to avoid a goal in the 25thth minute, when Motta Futebol Clube's Válbson de Alcântara fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melquiades Maraman in the 27th minute of play forced Motta Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Aírton de Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Válbson de Alcântara who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 43rdth minute tested the skills of Enes Enescu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Motta Futebol Clube's Válbson de Alcântara in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
