The crowd rose to their feet as Timão F.C.'s Toto Škarpa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arnaldo Laguna. That made the score 1-0 after 21 minutes of play. In the 27th match minute, Bangu RJ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andy Bolander to maneuver through the defense. In the 32nd minute Sérgio Godoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celestino Gervaso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Timão F.C.'s Toto Škarpa slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arnaldo Laguna. That made the score 3-0 after 47 minutes of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Constantin Mustăcilă was the one to do the kick off. Timão F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Toto Škarpa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Timão F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 69th match minute when Timão F.C.'s Toto Škarpa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 71st match minute, Bangu RJ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sérgio Godoi to maneuver through the defense. Arnaldo Laguna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toto Škarpa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Toto Škarpa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnaldo Laguna was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. The audience was convinced that Toto Škarpa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnaldo Laguna was relentless in the 95th minute of the game. Bangu RJ's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
