Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 153) Bangu RJ's Constantin Mustăcilă started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bangu RJ's 唐建帆 got a good chance for a goal in the 2nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Bangu RJ's Arnaldo Laguna got control of the ball when Gonçalo Urbano tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Jacareipe's zone, Sérgio Godoi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aki Nao came out of the goal and Sérgio Godoi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 7 minutes, Constantin Mustăcilă made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Jacareipe's Aki Nao tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Jacareipe's zone, Constantin Mustăcilă stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aki Nao came out of the goal and Constantin Mustăcilă tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arnaldo Laguna made an important save on a dangerous shot by Justo Enmanuel in the 12th minute. Jacareipe's Aki Nao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grzegorz Krychowiak in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justo Enmanuel in the 17th minute of play forced Bangu RJ's goalkeeper Arnaldo Laguna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Daniele Gentili charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Daniele Gentili the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 19 played minutes Bangu RJ got a freekick which was hit by Daniele Gentili. The audience thought a goal was coming when Clemente de Moraes got free with Arnaldo Laguna in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Grzegorz Krychowiak fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aki Nao having to interfere. Aki Nao showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Constantin Mustăcilă, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. A collision led to Bangu RJ getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Valdir Figueiredo hit a great ball. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jacareipe's goalkeeper Aki Nao, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sérgio Godoi in the 31st minute of play forced Jacareipe's goalkeeper Aki Nao to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jacareipe's Aki Nao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 唐建帆 in the 33rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cássio Silva during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Jacareipe booed when Bangu RJ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cássio Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Aki Nao came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Bangu RJ's Sérgio Godoi. But to his dismay, Sérgio Godoi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 40 minutes into the match, Bangu RJ's goal looked a bit too open when Justo Enmanuel came free, but Arnaldo Laguna reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 唐建帆 during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 41st minute, 唐建帆 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnaldo Laguna showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldo do Vale in the 42nd minute of the match. A throw-in in the 45th minute of the game was made by Andy Bolander with Raphael Arantes as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Elar Hallast hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
The supporters of Bangu RJ booed when Jacareipe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vitin Corzana didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Jacareipe's Vitin Corzana got a free kick in the 52nd minute. 56 minutes into the match, Gonçalo Urbano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnaldo Laguna. Bangu RJ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gonçalo Urbano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Aki Nao didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bangu RJ. Jacareipe made a substitution. Sílvio Luiz Mazza replaced Gonçalo Urbano. In the 70th minute, Sílvio Luiz Mazza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacareipe's Aki Nao played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sérgio Godoi in the 71st minute of play. After some careless play in the Jacareipe defense, Constantin Mustăcilă kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aki Nao. The Jacareipe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aki Nao should have stopped the shot. Constantin Mustăcilăs short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Aki Nao to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Sílvio Luiz Mazza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Grzegorz Krychowiak hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Sérgio Godoi kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match.
