Aki Nao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boleslaw Lipinski in the 5th minute of the match. 6 minutes had been played when some careless play by Jacareipe's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Boleslaw Lipinski was slow to take the kick. During this time Demarcacao AD's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Demarcacao AD's Boleslaw Lipinski to fire away a dangerous shot which Aki Nao despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Demarcacao AD's Jonas Ferraz got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jonas Ferraz might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aki Nao. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Boleslaw Lipinski was slow to take the kick. During this time Demarcacao AD's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Augustinus Hofland managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Fernando Cameno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 17 minutes into the game, Demarcacao AD's Fernando Cameno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aki Nao made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Aki Nao didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fernando Cameno went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonas Ferraz in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aki Nao saved Jacareipe from getting behind. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Wambasther Neuer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Justo Enmanuel, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute. In the 51st minute of the match Jacareipe got a corner. Demarcacao AD's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag.
