With a couple of smart ball manuevers Douglas Cardoso in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Edu Novaes saved Brejo SS from getting behind. Fausto do Valle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonzalo Vazquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 20thth minute of the game Deng Peng Yang who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Avantchê's Fausto do Valle was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 23rd minute, Adriano Abraão got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dudu Tróia charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dudu Tróia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
