Raí Bertassi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cauan Linhares went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 24th minute, Cauan Linhares made a precise shot to the right of Raí Bertassi. 27 de Mayo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 27 de Mayo's Raí Bertassi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cauan Linhares in the 27th minute of play. The supporters of Novorizontino - DMZ booed when 27 de Mayo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hílton Cardoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Novorizontino - DMZ's Cauan Linhares got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 32 minutes, Cauan Linhares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Novorizontino - DMZ's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cauan Linhares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cauan Linhares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raí Bertassi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Cauan Linhares had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Raí Bertassi. 27 de Mayo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cauan Linhares was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. German Berto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raí Bertassi having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dedê de Senna to make the kick off. Novorizontino - DMZ's Cauan Linhares got a good chance for a goal in the 50th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Cauan Linhares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cauan Linhares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Válbson Mangueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute, Cauan Linhares ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raí Bertassi was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Raí Bertassi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marco Ordono in the 72nd minute. In the 73rd minute, Hílton Cardoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raí Bertassi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cauan Linhares in the 74th minute of the match. 27 de Mayo's Raí Bertassi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 77th minute of the match, managed to save 27 de Mayo from getting a goal against them. When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 0-8 when Marco Ordono sped through 27 de Mayo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Raí Bertassi. In the 96th minute German Berto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raí Bertassi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Novorizontino - DMZ could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than 27 de Mayo throughout the match.
