Sagatyba Esporte Clube's Luizão Rezende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adriano Abraão in the 9th minute of play. In the 12thth minute of the game Adriano Abraão who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sagatyba Esporte Clube's Luizão Rezende was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Sagatyba Esporte Clube booed when Avantchê was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Dejean didn't get a good kick on the ball. Avantchê's Douglas Cardoso got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fausto do Valle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zygmunt Dejo, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Avantchê's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
