Raí Bertassi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Deng Peng Yang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Raí Bertassi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Deng Peng Yang scored 0-3 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raí Bertassi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The 27 de Mayo players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Brejo SS were winning 0-3.

Despite this Raí Bertassi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 69th minute of the match, Gonzalo Vazquez got a very nice opportunity to score, but Raí Bertassi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 76th minute, Brejo SS's Deng Peng Yang ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Raí Bertassi. Raí Bertassi yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. In the 81st minute Deng Peng Yang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raí Bertassi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
