In the 15th minute of the match, Kauã de Carvalho tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Luiz Fábio Paes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 16 minutes, Moisés Paraense mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pantanal and the Novorizontino - DMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Moisés Paraense hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. But to his dismay, Kauã de Carvalho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Jan Koller hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. In the 24th minute, Cauan Linhares reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Luiz Fábio Paes. The goal made the score 2-0. Jan Koller charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jan Koller the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jan Koller kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After having played for 29 minutes, Cauan Linhares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jan Koller to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Cauan Linhares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luiz Fábio Paes was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Luiz Fábio Paes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Válbson Mangueira took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Luiz Fábio Paes. Pantanal's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Novorizontino - DMZ support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
