The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Rodolfo Perfecto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Dalmo Freire made a huge save. The supporters of Alvi Verde booed when EC Fragata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Percy Freire didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodolfo Perfecto scored 1-0 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dalmo Freire, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dalmo Freire came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Alvi Verde's Juarês Vianna. But to his dismay, Juarês Vianna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 14 minutes into the match, Cuero Buseth dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Dalmo Freire, 3-0. Dalmo Freire made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juarês Vianna in the 20th minute. Téo Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sydney Quirino in the 21st minute of play. Dalmo Freire made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juarês Vianna in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Alvi Verde's Peker Suersan fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Davi Silva's late challenge caught a Alvi Verde's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Davi Silva helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, EC Fragata's Davi Silva got a free kick in the 28th minute. The supporters of Alvi Verde booed when EC Fragata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugênio Cosme didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alvi Verde's Rodolfo Perfecto quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Luiz Guilherme Falcão, made in the 34th minute of the game. In the 36th match minute, EC Fragata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sydney Quirino to maneuver through the defense. Juarês Vianna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wilbert Ugalde had several of the EC Fragata's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 42 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 4-0 score and a disappointed Dalmo Freire as he didn't even see the shot coming. Giovanni Hermes struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Dalmo Freire didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alvi Verde.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anderson Couto was the one to do the kick off. The Alvi Verde fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when Alvi Verde's Juarês Vianna looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Dalmo Freire made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juarês Vianna in the 55th minute of play. Dalmo Freire showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peker Suersan, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 58th minute Juarês Vianna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmo Freire saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peker Suersan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmo Freire having to interfere. Juarês Vianna scored 6-0 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dalmo Freire, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dalmo Freire showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peker Suersan in the 64th minute of the match. Piarres Cabredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eugênio Cosme kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Dalmo Freire showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Juarês Vianna in the 67th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Alvi Verde's Wilbert Ugalde got a free kick in the 68th minute. If Cuero Buseth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the match, EC Fragata's goal looked a bit too open when Juarês Vianna came free, but Dalmo Freire reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Alvi Verde's Wilbert Ugalde in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye EC Fragata's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Wilbert Ugalde put it in 7-0 from a short distance just to the right of Dalmo Freire. Dalmo Freire took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peker Suersan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute, Juarês Vianna made a precise shot to the right of Dalmo Freire. EC Fragata's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Rodolfo Perfecto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alvi Verde's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodolfo Perfecto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dalmo Freire breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 91 minutes into the match, EC Fragata's goal looked a bit too open when Peker Suersan came free, but Dalmo Freire reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute Juarês Vianna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmo Freire saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juarês Vianna in the 93rd minute of play forced EC Fragata's goalkeeper Dalmo Freire to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the match, EC Fragata's goal looked a bit too open when Juarês Vianna came free, but Dalmo Freire reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alvi Verde's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
