Eugênio Baptista kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. José Pedro Bezerra came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Esporte Clube Pilar's Walmyr Neto. But to his dismay, Walmyr Neto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 15th match minute, EndosClub was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dieguinho de Andrade to maneuver through the defense. After 16 played minutes EndosClub got a freekick which was hit by Dieguinho de Andrade. An unexpected shot in the 18th minute by Bautista Quintero got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Dênis Matos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Roch Orszak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, EndosClub's Flávio Paraense got a free kick in the 21st minute. Bautista Quintero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th minute of the match Esporte Clube Pilar got a corner. EndosClub's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bautista Quintero ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Raul Moura managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Leandro Porto kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. José Pedro Bezerra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adam Arnista, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 35th minute of the match, Virgílio Britto tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but José Pedro Bezerra saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. José Pedro Bezerra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Arnista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yan Zonta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dieguinho de Andrade made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Yan Zonta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. José Pedro Bezerra was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Adam Arnista took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised José Pedro Bezerra. José Pedro Bezerra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Yan Zonta struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. José Pedro Bezerra didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Esporte Clube Pilar. In the 60th minute Bautista Quintero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Pedro Bezerra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute Esporte Clube Pilar were awarded a corner. Bautista Quintero went to the cornerflag to take it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Osvaldinho Lago during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. EndosClub's José Pedro Bezerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudinho Ramalho in the 67th minute of play. José Pedro Bezerra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yan Zonta in the 69th minute of play. When Yan Zonta came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Esporte Clube Pilar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yan Zonta couldn't finish the play. Bautista Quintero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Bautista Quintero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Esporte Clube Pilar's Yan Zonta in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye EndosClub's goalie prevented a goal. 81 minutes into the match, Bautista Quintero had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of José Pedro Bezerra. EndosClub's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bautista Quintero was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. In the 84th minute, Yan Zonta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Esporte Clube Pilar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-0. Esporte Clube Pilar's Roch Orszak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Esporte Clube Pilar from getting a goal against them. 88 minutes into the game, Esporte Clube Pilar's Adam Arnista nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. José Pedro Bezerra made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgílio de Queirós in the 93rd minute of play forced Esporte Clube Pilar's goalkeeper Roch Orszak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yan Zonta in the 95th minute of play forced EndosClub's goalkeeper José Pedro Bezerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Esporte Clube Pilar had played much better football throughout.
